What is a Customer Center, and what is the manage subscription URL?
Customer Center and manage subscription URL
A Customer Center is a self-service screen in your app where subscribers see their plan, change or cancel it, restore purchases and contact support. It can show a retention offer before they cancel. Both stores also run a management page: Apple's manage subscriptions sheet and Google Play's subscriptions center, which has a link you can open from your app.
On iOS, call showManageSubscriptions(in:) to present Apple's sheet inside your app. It shows the customer's active subscription and lets them view, upgrade, downgrade or cancel. Apple says to avoid showing it in Mac Catalyst apps and in iOS apps running on Apple silicon Macs, because the sheet is not supported on macOS. On Android, open https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions?sku=<product>&package=<package>, where customers manage payment methods, cancel, resubscribe and pause.
A Customer Center of your own adds what the stores' pages do not: a retention offer, an exit survey, and answers for common questions. RevenueCat describes its Customer Center as a self-service UI that can prevent churn with promotional offers, collect exit feedback and lower support volume. Apple's advice is to make it easy to reach the system management screen where people can cancel.
RevenueDot serves the configuration for the RevenueCat SDK's Customer Center (CustomerCenterView on iOS, CustomerCenter on Android). You add a promotional offer to the cancel path or the refund path under Lifecycle, Retention, and RevenueDot signs the offer. It also answers Apple's Retention Messaging API in real time and stores support tickets that customers send from the screen.

FAQ
Customer Center and manage subscription URL: questions people ask
How do I open the subscription management page from my app?
On iOS call showManageSubscriptions(in:). On Android open the Google Play subscriptions URL with your product ID and package name.
Does a Customer Center stop cancellations?
It lets you show an offer first. The customer can still cancel in the store, and the store, not your app, ends the subscription.
Is a Customer Center required?
No. Apple says to consider adding a manage subscriptions option, and your own screen is optional on both stores.
