Questions people ask
How much does RevenueCat cost?
RevenueCat is free while monthly tracked revenue is under $2,500. From $2,500 a month it charges 1% of all tracked revenue, not only the part above $2,500: $25 at $2,500, $500 at $50,000 and $10,000 at $1,000,000. Tracked revenue is measured before Apple's and Google's commission, per RevenueCat's pricing page.
Does RevenueCat charge on revenue before or after the App Store cut?
Before. Monthly tracked revenue is the gross amount customers pay, before the 15% or 30% store commission and taxes, so RevenueCat's 1% is about 1.2% of what you receive after a 15% commission.
What is the cheapest RevenueCat alternative?
Self-hosted RevenueDot costs nothing beyond your own server, and it works with the RevenueCat SDK you already ship. RevenueDot Cloud is free up to $10,000 a month in tracked revenue; its planned paid plan is 0.5% above that, capped at $999 a month. Among hosted vendors, Qonversion charges 0.8% above $7,000 and Adapty 1% above $5,000.
How much would I save by switching from RevenueCat?
