Send subscription revenue to Asapty

RevenueDot sends each subscription step to Asapty with the Apple Search Ads campaign, ad group and keyword the customer came from. Events are named initial_purchase_event, renewal_event and so on, and revenue is a two-decimal US dollar string. You paste your Asapty ID. Customers without Apple Search Ads attribution are skipped.

What teams do with it

  • See what each Apple Search Ads keyword and campaign earned in Asapty.
  • Send trials, renewals and cancellations, not only first purchases.
  • Skip the extra setup: the Apple Search Ads attribution comes from the AdServices token RevenueDot already resolves.

What RevenueDot sends

  • GET https://asapty.com/_api/mmpEvents/ with asaptyid, event_name, conversiondate and campaignid, plus a URL-encoded json parameter.
  • event_name: initial_purchase_event, trial_started_event, trial_converted_event, trial_cancelled_event, renewal_event, cancellation_event, uncancellation_event, non_renewing_purchase_event, subscription_paused_event, expiration_event, billing_issue_event or product_change_event.
  • Apple Search Ads attribution: campaignid from $appleAdsCampaignId (required), adgroupid, keywordid, ad_id, claim_type and profile_country from the other $appleAds* attributes. Apple's -1 placeholder IDs are left out.
  • json: revenue as a two-decimal US dollar string, af_currency, transaction_id, original_transaction_id, purchase_date, vendor_product_id and store_country.
  • Asapty takes no negative revenue, so refunds go with revenue 0.00. Asapty takes production events only, so sandbox events are skipped.

How Asapty deliveries are retried, logged and replayed

  • Retries: timeouts, 408, 425, 429 and 5xx answers retry after 5, 10, 20, 40 and 80 minutes. Any other 4xx fails at once, because sending the same request again cannot work. Fix the setting, then replay.
  • Delivery log: each delivery shows the request with every secret replaced by [redacted], the partner's answer, the HTTP status, the time taken and the number of attempts.
  • Skipped, with the reason: when there is nothing to send, such as a missing device ID, the delivery is marked skipped and says why. Retry sends it after your app sets the attribute.
  • Replay: Replay failed resends failed and skipped deliveries in bulk.
  • Sealed credentials: keys and tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM on the server and never shown again. The dashboard shows only the last four characters.
  • Rejections: Asapty answers 200 with result.status set to OK when it accepts an event. Any other answer is logged as a rejection.

FAQ

Asapty and RevenueDot

How do I send subscription revenue to Asapty?

Copy your Asapty ID from Settings → General in Asapty, enter it under Integrations → Asapty in RevenueDot and click Connect Asapty. Your iOS app must call enableAdServicesAttributionTokenCollection() so each customer has an Apple Search Ads campaign.

Why was an Asapty event skipped?

The customer has no $appleAdsCampaignId, so Asapty cannot attribute the event. That happens for customers who did not come from an Apple Search Ads ad, or whose token was never collected.

Does Asapty get sandbox purchases or refunds?

Sandbox events are skipped, because Asapty takes production events only. A refund is sent with revenue 0.00, because Asapty takes no negative revenue.

Is there a RevenueCat Asapty integration alternative?

Yes. RevenueDot sends the request that RevenueCat documents for Asapty (checked October 2026), from an open source backend you can self-host.
