Non-Subscription Purchases counts the one-time in-app purchases made in each period: consumables, non-consumables and lifetime unlocks. Each purchase is counted once. It shows how many were bought, not how much they earned, and it excludes sandbox purchases, subscriptions and ad revenue.
Formula
Non-subscription purchases in a period = one-time purchases whose purchase time falls in that period

Definition
RevenueDot reads the transaction ledger and counts every row of kind one-time purchase, placed in the period of its purchase time. Subscription purchases, renewals and trial starts are not counted. The chart is a flow, so the summary total is the sum over the range.
The count is not reduced by refunds. The money from these purchases is in the Revenue chart, which subtracts refunds on the refund date. Sandbox purchases, granted access and Family Sharing are excluded, and the sandbox switch shows only sandbox and Test Store purchases. Filters and segments: app, store, product, product duration, offering, country, platform and app version.
You can open it in the dashboard under Charts or fetch it with GET /v2/projects/{project_id}/charts/non-subscription_purchases. The response has the same shape as RevenueCat's Charts API, so scripts written for that API keep working. The secret key needs the charts_metrics:charts:read permission. The Charts guide lists every parameter. RevenueDot also publishes the SQL that reproduces this chart in the guide.
Worked example
One day of one-time purchases for an app that sells credit packs.
| Product | Purchases |
|---|---|
| 100 credits | 14 |
| 500 credits | 6 |
| Lifetime unlock | 2 |
The chart shows 22 non-subscription purchases for the day.
Why it matters
Many apps mix subscriptions with packs of credits, a lifetime unlock or a consumable boost. This chart shows how often customers buy those, separately from the recurring base. A lifetime offer that sells well can pull buyers away from subscriptions, and the chart is where you see that trade.
Segment by product to see which pack or unlock sells, and by country to see where. Pair the count with Revenue to get the average value of a one-time purchase.
API
Same path and response shape as RevenueCat's Charts API, so existing scripts keep working.
